First time poster etc and so on.
Is there a compilation thread or a general advice thread on
"Converting my concrete sectional garage which is quite big into a half office space (two desks, a fridge, hopefully a sofa) / half gym space (weights and bikes)."
My plan (ha) is:
smartseal concrete sealant for the floor
xps boards on the floor
carpet tiles on top / heavy duty gym mats for the gym bit
lining out with compton clips for the vertical battens, drill with an sds into the floor for the horizontal floor batten to help support the vertical batten, then rather than drill into the sections (bad) use m6 anchor bolts in pre existing pre built holes (currently used by the fascia/guttering so i'm not touching them) to anchor the horizontal batten at the top of the frame
Insulation board in the frame
OSB over the top of the frame
Cold roof
externally mounted electrician fitted sockets/power/overhead lights
shelving / bikes on wall / eventually a squat rack
