Grounding exahust, any ideas please?

I've just got a '99 Cerbera Speed 6, stunning car which I think I might now love more than the wife! But I'm having a problem getting into my drive, the exhausts (approx under rear axel) are grounding when I come in. Took it to a garage who put it up on a ramp and there's a section of each exhaust that comes down lower than the rest of the car, skid plates included. Both of these are now badly gouged and one more bash will probably hole them.
Does anyone have any experience with this or any suggestions please?
I desperatley want to keep the car but think a new exhaust every few weeks might start to become expensive!

why not redo the drive?
so the exahust won't ground.

Thanks but cant, the drive is lower than the main road so it's when I turn off the road that it grounds.

Reverse it on to the drive?

speed six should have adjustable rear damper height adjusters .. raise the rear ride height until it just clears

Put some planks of wood on your drive.

Thanks for help so far. Reversing is just as bad and planks of wood wont work (the road angles one way, the pavement flat and my drive angles the other, a bit like physics at school with fulcrums).
Thanks for the tip about adjustable rear, I've got it booked in to see Ian at Middlewich next week (following recommendations on this forum), so I'll see if he can do anything.

Pump up tyres a bit more

dont think that would make much difference, just bows the tyres so the centre of the tread wears out quicker.

Does anyone have nitron shockers, I was just wondering if they are height adjustable and how much difference they make to handling?

I took the exhaust off my car at the weekend on a bumpy road (ok not totally off but it is blwong under the driver seat)!!! Sounds very loud without it !!!

Move house! Thats what I did, worked a treat.

Just make sure you check the driveway angles of any houses you look at.

You need a soft landing. Ask the wife to lie on the offending gradient with a couple of Yellow Pages held at appropriate distances for her comfort -consideration to all parties eh?

Thanks for all your suggestions.
Didn't realise the answer was so simple. All I need to do is:
1)move house,
2)get my wife to lay down infront of the car to soften the blow and
3)hit her at 80mph to avoid damaging the exhaust.
