whats the name of this sort of rod?

the adjustment rod for my mower deck snapped off. Its a bit like a tie rod - its got maybe 40mm of m10 at both ends (reverse threaded at one end), the middle is a hex, the overall bar is ~340mm long. I'd prefer to replace it like for like because one of the heads that threads onto it is deep inside the mower and I don't want to take it all apart.

on the one I have the middle bit is 260mm long (rather than the threaded bits) but I don't suppose it matters, as long as there's a thread at each end.

Gemini thought its called a turnbuckle, but those all appear to have female ends. I've tried searching for tie rods but they're all model specific, so I'd spend forever trying to find one with the right ends (I think).

double end stud or hex double end stud. Check that it has the correct handed threads!

If you don't need a lot of LH thread, you might put something together using the shorter items suggested above, plus a 'connecting nut' and a length of common threaded bar/studding?

You can buy long connection nuts which are LH thread one end RH the other.

yeah I might be able to make one out of some threaded bar (1 big with each thread direction) and a female bit in the middle.
