Owner here smile I've loved owning this car and have been surprised at the attention it has received at the shows I've attended this year. At some point you will be approached by someone at a petrol station and end up chatting about the good old days of AWD road rally cars!

It's a bit of a show queen and would have been taken off the road as we approach winter, which would leave me carless. I've therefore decided it's time to let someone else enjoy the car while I search for something equally characterful but not quite as 'mint', that can be used in all weathers (I realise that's exactly what an Impreza's designed for biggrin).

A big thank you to the PH team for all their help. The photographer (Matt) was a true gent and clearly passionate about anything automotive related.

Good luck to anyone that bids on the car!

Hi @Skyway, the imperfections are listed below. The couple of small door dings really don't come out in photographs so these aren't shown. The small crack in the wing is something I've seen on a couple of Imprezas that have the 'mid' spoiler... I'm guessing some folks slam the boot shut which puts extra pressure on this point. I purchased the car like this (I certainly haven't been slamming the boot shut!)

The front passenger side wing has obviously had a poor paint job done. Is there any paintwork done anywhere else on the vehicle?

Hi @RMac, that's not a poor paint job and it hasn't been resprayed at all from what we can see. If the paint looks flat in that last photo it's because the reflections make it look that way. Take a look at the other photos of the passenger wing and compare to the driver's side and there's is no difference in paint quality. Anyone interested in the car is more than welcome to come and properly inspect it at any time (assuming they can travel to South Wales of course).

Just as a follow up to the above, I've posted some additional photos of the passenger side wing in different lights, which hopefully shows the (very high) quality of the paint. There is no evidence to suggest the car has ever received any paint, and as mentioned above, I'd welcome anyone that is interested to come and inspect the car. I'll even provide a cuppa and biscuits!

My first Impreza experience was in an identical one back in 2000 in the Chippenham area. Some random guy took me and a mate out for a spin at night in the pissing rain. The grip was incredible. I was instantly hooked. What a proper motor for the every day driver. Don’t get anything this tidy in Australia sadly.

I had a late 90s Impreza, so wonderful back in the day. One of the first cars to be sent off to Prodrive for a tune and extra hardware and suddenly it stayed alive up to 100 mph. This was well before remaps/pops and bangs became commonplace.
