Morning,
Our ford Kuga has gone to the auction house in the sky, I've used the free software forescan since buying it.

Is there anything similar for mazfas please?
I'd rather free laptop based but then wouldn't we all

Have you tried Forscan on it? It works with earlier Mazdas including mk4 MX-5

It works, used my own lead and old (2011) laptop
Checked and cleared cods , 5 or so , not driven yet so we will see if they return

The dpf regent said 60 mins but took 45 ISH as I'd been drinking just before, as it was my first one with this vehicle it was a bit odd with some funny smells and sounds

Yeah, I use FORScan on my Mazda 5, including coding new injectors, keys and keyfobs.

Ta, 8 realise you could do key fobs, our Kuga only had one key, 5 years not realising I could have cloned it....

Yeah. The keyfob was easy. The immobiliser took a couple of goes, but worked fine and is now my Mrs' main key.
