it actually raced on saturday night in its first race in the ALMS at laguna seca, result? won the P2 class and was pushing the audis and lolas!!!

Beauty, pity it came along after the R8 was retired!

Imagine taking one of these for a spin on the roads!

Yes, it would be like every racing car driven on a road, it would buck and twist the wheel in your hands and try and throw you off the road at every given opportunity.

Joy to drive on the road racing cars I teel ya!

Should be interesting to see if it goes to Le Mans.

Was certainly mixing it with the Audi's at the front for a while at Sebring.

The Porsche isn't going to Le Mans, at least, certainly not this year. They stated that at the end of last year. US cometition only for 2006 (Its being funded by Porsche USA) with customer cars to follow in 2007.
