PDR experiences

Being aware I do not have the required skills to carry out my own PDR needs.
and entrusting others,
watching the process is a joy to behold.
the skill of a good PDR person can't be under estimated.

I have had the need for 3 se[erate visits tp my Chosen PDR person
each time the car returns perfect with no visible sign whatsoever there has been any repair,
The latest need for attention was identified this AM when cleaning my Hilux
a small dent on the passenger door under the handle paint not marked but a dent visible.
I called and was lucky enough to get fitted in if I could be at his work place within the hour.
on arrival a brief chat 5mins later all done the dent was accessed through a plastic bung in the side of the door.

The worst I had was after some B**tid kid threw a back pack from a first floor school window as we were passing( I kid you not) 6kg of back pack containing books a games consul and various kids crud. the PPF on the bonnet saved the paint and the 8-10 (that I counted) dents
were all addressed by the PDR chap, the support webbing under the bonnet re glued after straightening also dealt with.
New PPF added post repair.

Anyone here learnt PDR or had good/bad experiences ?

It you’re thinking of a career change. It’s surprisingly a competitive market. Some of the bigger companies charge less than £50 a car to garages. There is likely money in high end stuff though.

Nah I am retired no idea of working again.

Some examples of PDR you see on Youtube are little short of miraculous.

The issue for me is that this must be very dependent on the skill of the individual practitioner.
