This should be Volume 50 at the end of which we should have reached half a million posts. Instead, for numerous historical reasons and a derelict water tower full of errors, it's Volume 43, and half a million posts comes up in 2,896 posts' time.

This is post 497,104. Ish.

It's a long story.

Well done everyone, damn good effort.

And no mistake.

(Volume 42, or is that Volume 48 confused, is over here:

Four minutes and nothing.

Posting average out the window. The world in tatters. Woe, woe and thrice woe.

It just needed an Irishman living in France to show the way.

I'll write it into the Handbook.

Thank goodness you're here. Are you any good with tea trolleys? I'm expecting a rush.

Mind you, even a Mini Rushette would be nice. It's quiet. Too quiet.

In on first page, however can't contribute further as nothing about my life is trivial.

Sorry, back from the school run and missed the Lysander. I'm in, that was a huge leap for mankind...

My SLK bits and bobs for sale eventually found a home. A nice young couple came and bought a pair of rear lights and are coming back on Friday for the set of wheels. They also asked about door mirrors and a boot lid light - which I have.

smile

I'll let them buy stuff for a while and then say they can have the rest for nought for being my only good customers.

All except the new headlights, of course, which will be worth a £trillion one day. New, genuine Mercedes Benz parts, in their boxes. I took down the ad. Forty one (41) likes, three stoopid comments, and no enquiries.

I'll see you when the dust has settled.

I say, steady on, we don't have the Triv-O-Meter installed and re-calibrated yet.

Coming in on Page 1 with Complex Trivia like that. Caught us off guard.

Do we need to ask why there was no room on the Lysander and what was in those large number of document boxes, Dicky stuffed at the back of the plane? Or is that just Bobbers whisky stash on the move?

Did Mrs H make it?

We didn't have a sixteenth anniversary souvenir this year.

Slipping.

It's me age, you know.
Trivton has come of age?

Do we need to start page one with some trivia and puns?

Cheese is the most stolen food, apparently 4% of all cheese is stolen.

The rest of the thieves were stopped because they weren't caerphilly enough

Did anybody else have to suffer Battert’s special SEF (Steely Eyed Frisking) at the border control?

I’m not sure I’ll sleep soundly again. weeping

No, as it happens. These folks are academics and they want the mirrors so they can salvage the up and down and side to side motors for their mirrors which aren't as mobile as they once were.

It's Free Solder with this offer.

You must excuse me, I'm really trying to get on. The park brake release pull to replace the broken park brake release pull has arrived and I should fit it.
