Closing in a a family wagon.....

- Anyone had/tried both and can compare them directly?
- What is the stero like in them?

Looked at both and they seem fine, Kia more modern and bettery warranty, Honda felt very well made/good quality.

They seem fairly closely matched, looking at used £18k etc.

Yet to try a Volvo CX40 as the final condenter.

From what I have heard, the Niro is a very good 1 x family car. I am not sure how well the HRV reviews. The whole Honda range is a bit mad these days.

Who is it for and what sort of driving?

The London taxi drivers seem to love the Niro. Whether that's good or bad news is up to you.

HR-V boot seems a smidge small but the EV-like drivetrain is nice and economical if you're not in a rush. I think I'd go up to a ZR-V or older CR-V for a family car, but the HR-V might do.

Thanks, we want a small ish car, so anything over 4.4m is too long really. Plus the price gets higher then.

Just wondered on real world ownership experience etc.

On paper the Kia wins but I'm drawn to the Honda, feels a bit more grown up if that makes any sense.
