Looked at a holiday for the 3 of us next July to Japan
Got a very reasonable quote for Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto and Hiroshima including 3 nights in each, bullet train passes for 3 of us
Flights through Doha and back with Etihad
All for less than 5k

Through a company called
World holiday vibes

Before I pay deposit, has anyone used this company ? Reviews look ok ?

Thanks

If that is real then sounds like an amazing deal ( I haven't heard of World Holiday Vibes).

I picked a random date in July last year and the cheapest return flights from UK I could find with only a single stop were £950 per person to Tokyo from Manchester, so that's £2,850 already.

Then you will need a 7 day bullet pass per person, which is 50k yen (about £260) per person. So that brings you up to £3,630.

So that leaves £1300 for 9 nights of accommodation, which is £140 per night between 3 people (so about £47 per person per night).

I suppose it is possible and maybe they get special deals on all of the above, but seems tight!

Also, the address of World Holiday Vibes is 14 Cricklewood Lane, as per the below:

and on their website:

But when you look at Google Street View (from Aug 2025), that address is for a chicken shop which according to the latest Google Review was still open a month ago...

Not to say they don't have an office behind or have recently replaced the chicken shop, but just what I found...

Pay on credit card and then book something else that's fully refundable.

Or do a bit more due diligence.

We were in Japan last week. You can get the Kansai pass for 5 days for £75 which covers the Osaka, Hiroshima area on the bullet train. It also covers other places on the bullet train and it also covers the JR trains around Osaka/Kansai.
We used it from Osaka to Hiroshima, and you can also use it on the hop on, hop off bus around Hiroshima. Its a really good deal.

Must admit that I was a bit cynical about that deal when I first read this thread but I wonder if there's some sort of incentive scheme going on from the equivalent of the Japanese tourist board currently, as I have just seen another cracking fortnight in Japan deal from another company that I have heard of - something like £799pp for a fortnight which is just silly cheap.

I would still be booking on a credit card mind, but that applies for any travel arrangements I make.

I've just been looking myself. They don't actually tell you anything really other than at the end of the last financial year they owed £52k - which could be for any number of valid reasons. Sales or turnover isn't listed.

But, their filing is in order and the Director's are verified. They have lots of five star reviews and ABTA and ATOL membership counts for a lot.

The only flag I see raised is this:

BrightSun Travels isn't registered at Companies House.

ABTA / ATOL protection will only apply to the company you purchased the holiday from. So, you could see a deal from company A that has full ABTA/ATOL protection but you end up buying that holiday from company B that has no protection. You may only know which is which at the point you make the payment and even then, it may not be obvious.

There's a footer at the bottom of their webpage:

"Vibes Group UK Ltd acts as an agent on behalf of Brightsun Travel (UK) Ltd, and ATOL-protected bookings will be covered under Brightsun Travel (UK) Ltd’s ATOL 3853. Many of the flights and flight-inclusive holidays on worldholidayvibes.com which depart from the UK are financially protected under this scheme. Please ask us to confirm what protection may apply to your booking. If you do not receive an ATOL Certificate, then the booking will not be ATOL protected. If you do receive an ATOL Certificate but all parts of your trip are not listed on it, those parts will not be ATOL protected. This website is intended primarily for residents of the UK. Please see our terms and conditions for full details, or for more information about financial protection and the ATOL Certificate, visit www.caa.co.uk/atol-protectionetails, or for more information about financial protection and the ATOL Certificate, visit www.caa.co.uk/atol-protection"
.

Seems there's a bunch of "Vibes" companies. No idea how the industry works but Brightsun is a fair size.

Needs ATOL as there's flights involved. ABTA is for anything other than flight inclusive.
