Would anyone know where to source the plastic one-way check valves that are used in the PCV octopus?
It looks like it uses a rubber duckbill for the actual check valve inside of the plastic part.

I have seen nice aluminum ones on Amazon, but they are spring loaded and take about 7-10x the pressure to open.

Thanks, I did see that video and that's what got me to thinking of sourcing out more parts for the "some day" in the future when I may need them.
The one-way valve he used in the video is the one i'm referring to as needing 7X to 10X the pressure required to open. Personally I don't see that as a good match and could very well end up having bad unintentional consequences.

DIY is definitely an educational journey. Perhaps in his apparent thoroughness with the DBS he will come to realize that potential issue. And, speaking of the "journey", I revisited an older video of Mike at Bamford Rose explaining the shortcomings of the Aston VH OBDII vs. that of its BMW contemporary. Enlightening and a bit disappointing, but another useful push down the path. Best of luck in your parts search.
