Have noticed a real issue with these.

I have just spent some time seeing if there were any loose hinges pr loose screws or anything, none that I could find with a poorly trained eye.
Basically the top is closer than the bottom and catches as you try and close the doors, it looks like about 4 or 5mm so quite a long way off. Maybe fitted wrongly maybe warped or something not sure.

Is there anything that could be done, or is it getting someone in to rehang or adjust?

If they are upvc there will be adjustment on the hinges, usually with a 4 or 5mm Allen key

I have tried a bit, not sure where the adjustment is mainly tried to make sure all the hinges are done up right and tight.

It is definitely closer together and the top of the door and further apart down low.

If it’s upvc post a picture of the hinge

It probably needs to be toe and heeled.

On upvc the hinges usually have a removable cover which have an adjustment behind them. Which allows separate lateral, vertical and compression adjustment

Good luck. If you get stuck, try and post a picture of the hinge and I’ll try and help. You might get lucky with someone showing how to adjust the same type of hinge on YouTube. Just search upvc flag hinge, the newer ones are all fairly similar. Some of the really old ones are not so straightforward.

I saw a window fitter do this. I was expecting him to faff with the hinges but this method was surprisingly (to me) effective.

Due to a current subsidence issue one of our French doors were massively out and only just closed. Locking them was becoming hit and miss.

Window fitters came last week to fit new windows in the rest of the house and I asked them to take a llok as there was no adjustment left.

5 minutes later they had repacked the glazed units in the frames and they open and close like new!

Have had a look just now and found a small issue.

There is some movement of the door panel inside its top two hinges, not sure if it is a pin or something

Where the pin fits into the hinge you can move the door panel back and forth a little when the door is fully open so at sort of 90 degrees to the wall and frame. on the top two hinges which would obviously lead to it leaning slightly inward at the top to the bottom at rest. I am not sure what I can do as this would probably involve removing the door perhaps.

Basically if I am closing the door, if I lift it up and right it closes easier.

I tried to do a short vid clip. Was too big.

That is the door fully open. I am talking about the white part here and I can pull it towards me slightly so the part with the small chrome hole moves slightly back and forth in that frame held with the two large dark screws.

Sorry at mansplaining!!

Those hinges are not the best, since they only have a small amount of adjustment.
If this is the same hinge then there are adjustment instructions on the link

A normal upvc flag hinge has over 5mm of lateral adjustment similar to this

OK so I am getting from that, you adjust the little grub screw first which releases pressure on the pin, then the bigger screws allow some movement fore and aft.

But you get limited movement.

If you move the top hinge on both doors away from each other l, it should give You enough clearance.

Have tried this now.

Basically the one that moves more, is unable to stay in the openly wide adjustment, the grub screw moves but will not keep it adjusted, I would imagine it has been going on for years and been hacked about so many times it now is unable to do its job.

It will lock of moved closer together but not if pushed more away. So its buggered I think
