If their point was to show everyone how quick an F1 car is at 60% compared to a quick road car, the M5, then they did it.

But how many people didnt actually already know that.

Just an excuse for Tiff to drive an F1 car - fair play to him, not a great report for me though.

It was pants!
I was at the BMW Power festival at Rockingham when they recorded that, and Vicki whooped him both times they raced.
Tiff basically had to do 2 laps in the time it took Vicki to do 1, and he failed both attempts (or would have done had VBH not crawled to a halt at the end of the second run so they could edit it to look like he beat her for the telly.

Yes, the F1 car was considerably faster than the M5 in a straight line, but the Rockingham in-field circuit was just too tight and Tiff's driving just not up to it.

Would have been better to let Andy Priaulx do it, as he was driving it the rest of the day and he's used to it from his test sessions.

Yep - Waste of time - the M5 is a major Truck and even a Lambo / Enzo would never get close - and Rockingham - to tight for the F1 really - the infiedl make it a slow - medium speed track - yep main straight is fast.

They have to come up with better to take on TG.

Which is a shame, as in the flesh that M5 sounded glorious when it was going around the track. Definitely has an edge to its engine note. Very nice.

I was at Rockingham and saw Vicki win hands down but from memory the race was Tiff 3 laps to Vickis 2.
