Hey everyone,
Thought I’d start a build thread here to document my latest project. If this is the wrong place please let me know and I will move it.
The purists are probably going to hate me for this one, but I’ve taken a pre-war car and I'm taking the angle grinder to it.
The goal is a traditional, stripped-down, grassroots racer in the spirit of early jalopies and pre war specials. No massive budgets, just hammers, head scratching, and a lot of angle grinder sparks.
I just finished the tear-down and made the very first cuts to the frame. You can check out the first phase of the build here: youtu.be/MZ4AkISJLu0?si=PWZ4rZVbgLZsYY4R
I'll keep this thread updated as we move on to boxing the frame and sorting out the suspension geometry. Let me know what you think, even if you hate me for cutting it up!
Cheers,
Matt (Buscrapi)

If you click the 'quote' button above someone else's post, you can see what they wrote to achieve that result.

In this case, using the [ youtube ] [ /youtube ] tags around the video url.
