VW Caddy 2016 Ad Blue Low Level Cut out

Our VW Caddy hit empty on AdBlue so went into lock out mode.

I have topped the AdBlue up to full and reset the fault but it only resets the running limit to 35 miles before cutting out again.

Does anyone know how to fully reset the system so that it knows it's full again. I only have a basic trip computer so wondering if a more advanced one will do the job or a sensor will need replacing?

Its probably more likely an issue with the adblue tank/injctor etc. You would need someone with a more advanced diagnostic system to look into it.
