2021 E Pace P250 MHEV R Dynamic

Hi all

Not found much on here with regard to the above motor. Had a 2018 Diesel version and apart from the regen issues was pretty reliable but I am not jumping back into the diesel camp again!. I'm finding a lot of noise on line about constant electrical glitches which, to be fair, I also found in my (now former) F Type V6S. I loved the car but there were constant electrical glitches which only sorted themselves out with much driving. Not a bad thing I suppose!

Are there any owners here that might be able to offer some comfort that I'm not looking to buy a nightmare (for my wife)? The car is at a non specialist dealer (part exchanged for a JCW mini) and has had one previous owner. FSH and no repairs. No reported issues but they would say that wouldn't they! No discount for cash, which I found most surprising but they tell me it is over £1k less than retail cost.

I would like to think that with a reasonable amount of driving it will be reliable but I've read too much about recalls and upgrades to software to be 100% certain. Any thoughts/experience here?

I run a F Pace P400e. Can't recommend it enough. Getting the best out of the battery on longer runs takes some time to understand, but for pottering around town, charging at home is fab.
And when you want to open it up the 400bhp feels just as you'd expect. Touch wood I've had zero issues.
Definitely one to consider as an alternative to the E Pace.

You speak my language relax! Unfortunately 'er indoors is not keen on the larger model. Spotted an SVR F Pace in my local supermarket and chatted with the owner. He is selling early next year and has had no issues but apparenty size matters to current wife!
