Wondering if anyone has any ideas if something like this exists...

I have 3 pensions pots across 3 providers, and 1 ISA account with a 4th provider. Each contains a mix of funds with exposure to various companies, sectors and regions. To check how they're doing requires logging into 4 different accounts, mostly with 2FA and then it's basically impossible to get an overview of exactly what exposure I have to different companies or markets across the portfolio as a whole.

If for example I wanted to see what my exposure to NVidia, or even the NASDAQ was it would be difficult.

This feels like a job for AI - something which can track the individual regions, sectors, stocks in each fund and be interrogated at will depending on what I want to see.

So does this already exist, or am I going to have to vibe code something using Claude and hope it doesn't accidentally sell my entire holdings or transfer it to someone else by accident!?

You could set up a portfolio on Trustnet with your holdings, and this will give you a look through, as well as performance and risk data...

Not what you asked I know, but it's highly likely you could consolidate the investments to a single platform, and reduce overlaps in the investments.

I did research on assorted funds when consolidating Mrs_Shtu's assorted pensions, and found massive overlaps between differently-named funds from different providers. Near enough identical performances too, the main differentiator being the fees.

You -might- be able to build something using AI and a large context to get it, but the effort going into that is likely to be pretty high to keep the context relevant.

I'm a bit surprised that it's proving too hard to check a few pensions.

I have 4 - a couple of old workplace ones, a vanguard sipp, and the current workplace one and the iPhone apps for all 4 - With face ID enabled, it takes me maybe 30 seconds to check all four?

I keep a history of them in a spreadsheet for tracking purposes and update it every few days or so.

There are pension viewing / combining services - I think Monzo offer something like this as a service, but isn't the answer the new Pensions Dashboard thing?

MorningStar X-Ray used to do this then they pulled it for the UK frown

Closest now that I'm aware of is Trustnet Portfolios.

It won't drill down into super levels of detail but it's not too bad.

Keep in mind you can get a fair bit of info by chucking the monthly factsheets into a decent AI model too.

I use Google Sheets for this sort of thing. The GOOGLEFINANCE function provides access to (some) stock prices and currency rates.

For example...
=GOOGLEFINANCE("NASDAQ:NVDA")/GOOGLEFINANCE("currency:GBPUSD")
..will give you the Nvidia share price in GBP.

The stock price format is <exchange code>:<stock ticker>. Examples:
- LON:SHEL for Shell on LSE
- NYSE:F for Ford on NYSE
- SWX:NESN for Nestlé on SIX
- ETR:SIE for Siemens on Xetra

It doesn't have everything, so I have to manually update the prices of some UK listed funds and European ETFs, and you'd have to manually update the constituents and weightings of your funds but... ¯\_smile_/¯

I tried the new pension dashboard thing a few weeks ago but it only seemed to give me the values I'd received in the last statement - which for some was almost a year ago. They were not current values.

Would Sharesight work?

https://www.sharesight.com/uk/investment-portfolio...

I guess you'd be paying for at least the standard tier which is £14/month (billed annually).

Some good suggestions thank you - I can't (or won't) combine them, partly because it's a faff and partly because work will only pay into 1 account and I don't wish to move the others there.

Sharesight looks like the closest thing, although £160 per year is a little steep. At least it connects with brokers and pulls through new trades so you don't have to manually update it.

I've used AI (bob and gpt) to create a custom application to manage my pension.
Does both our work pensions , sipps , isas + other stuff.
Updates daily pricing
Has drawdown engine to suggest tax optimised withdrawal over 35yrs .. it's pretty neat
Also manages TFLS
Didn't take that long tbh, haven't written a line of code.

This is a problem that the government are going to be (partly) solving for us, though possibly not to the level of detail you want
