Try First alternative on-line, they didn't require one for mine or my business partner and we both live in London and he keeps his on the street!

Give Carl a call..

www.tvruk.tv/contactus.cfm

He supplied and fitted mine.. excellent and Thatcham approved. No yearly fee and you can..

- disable the entire car by sending it a txt (no smart remarks please).
- set a speed notification eg if someone drives it over 100mph.. (a bad dealer!!)
- sends you a text if the alarm goes off
- locate the car online or via MS Autoroute via text
- set a notification to another mobile number is the car is involved in a crash (not nice !!)
- listen in to what is going on in the car..

and some other features that I cannot remember..

Has worked perfectly for me.

Alans....just check first that it doesn't have to be a Cat 5.

We were advised that our insurance company would not insure unless it was a Cat 5 spec.

We bought ours from Tracker UK...great service, nice people.

When we had the system intially we had trouble with the sensitivity...got a phone call from the guys on the 24 hour desk asking if we were with the car...(we were)..as it was heading towards Harwich and as it was a port they wanted to be sure that all was in order.

Thought that was spot on.

Hi Pauline
I went for the MetaSAT GPA 800, nice bit of kit. Insurers are happy with it, being fitted tomorrow. I hope to pick up the Sag on Saturday.
Like you I'm a ex cerb owner, it will be interesting to compare tham.
