Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls.
I have sold the Puma, to a bloody nice chap from Leeds (pending an inspection from the AA / RAC).
Daily hack is arranged... pick it up next Wednesday...
So, anyone who has an S for sale, in the 6000-7000 bracket... gimmie your sales pitch.
TVR-dom, here I come!

Okay, here it goes:
I haven't played scrabble for over eight years. All the letters are in particularly good condition. I have a wide choice of 'S's to choose from. none have dog teeth marks in them and are available in your price range pending a RAC inspection!
Subsequentally TVR-dom doesn't contain any 'S's but I have a few T's, V's, R's, D's, O's and M's available at competitive prices too!!!

Good luck with your TVR purchase – don’t be too impulsive.
I advertised initially at £11,250 and then dropped to £10,750... hardly call £500 driving it through the floor! In dropping it below £11k, it crops up in so many more searches, as £11k tends to be a barrier - but thanks for taking the wind out of my sails.

Don’t get me wrong I’m please for you and was pulling you leg about the price.
Was in a similar boat recently when trying to sell my M3, didn’t go for weeks and was getting seriously frustrated.
Once it had gone I was just like you – “I’ve got the money !! Give me a TVR!!” Drove all the way to North Wales to see one with the cash in my hand and nearly bought it. Thankfully I took a 3rd party who gave me an unbiased opinion and looking back I bloody glad he did because the one I’ve got now is miles better.

It's probably nicked then! (or a bogus advert)
Some people don't seem to have a clue about their cars when advertising them. Classic one from the local rag:
1989 Ford Fiesta 1.3cc
good condition, 1990 model,
T&T, no MOT hence: £150

Yeah, no problem...

I actually "sold" the Puma within 3 days of advertising it. Guy came round, said he loved it, and left £100 as a deposit. I told the next 5 people who called that ti had gone.. foolishly didn't take their details down.
Anyway, he phones back and says he's been refused a loan, can he have his £100 back! Told him to take a hike - that was the point of a deposit, and call the rozzers if he didn't like it, since I'd wasted all the advetising money / time /etc etc. Understand what you mean about the TVR... gotta make sure the head rules the decision! Got a few in mind, driven a few good ones, but intend to take a long a specialist 3rd party to make sure.
Here's to TVRs!
