diagnostic apps

There appear to be several on the app store. Vtool ( I have a Volvo V90) Vgate iCar Pro, Car Scanner

They all seem to require an ELM327 plug in

Amazon have several...any on there to miss, and those which need a serious look at?

I use a vgate one and it seems to just do the job with car scanner mostly but also sometimes use vtool for my V40.

I also have another 2 elms that I bought a long time ago when elm327's first came out and that has never let me down, they just live in the cars.

I have never had the need for anything better than these in around 20 years of use. I have never messed about with anything newer than 2016 though which may make a difference.
