This would be a fantastic way for the pro-Palestinian movement to weaponise these poppies. Offer a poppy to someone or an organisation and shame them if they rightfully refuse.

Never seen a poppy with 3 petals, so that's a fail.

Of course. Because absolutely everything is about Palestine. If you disagree you're a fascist bigot.

The article said:
The poppies are being sold on a not-for-profit basis, with a “small donation” towards charities “working on the ground in Palestine”, plus organisations seeking to “bring about the end to the occupation and war crimes through legal routes”
I'd be interested to see the full audit trail for the money involved in these charities.

What gets me about the whole Palestine thing is (and I know neither side is innocent) but the people who scream the loudest in favour of Palestine would not last 5 minutes in that country, either due to infrastructure or more importantly their "attitude" to certain lifestyles.

because it's a backwards st hole

Another year, another attempt to hijack the Poppy Appeal. Remember the white poppy of a few years ago? Hopefully not because it rightly flopped.

Sell your own Palestine merch for charity if you want.
But don't try to impinge on another charity to spitefully try to damage it's takings.

Really aren't helping their cause with this stuff.

TBF nobody who would otherwise buy a red poppy is going to change their mind and buy this instead.

Mostly because it hasn't been allowed to thrive, perhaps?

To be clear, I am NOT in favour of this 'poppy' though.

Very true. The Palestinian government choose to spend the money of the hard working Palestinian taxpayer on funding people who kill Israelis - 7% of their budget in 2018 went on this and not on building roads or education etc.

Turns out the man behind this has some very extreme views.

The minority do really shout incredibly loudly. The overwhelming majority of people I know could best have their views on what’s going on in Palestine described as ‘meh’. A lot have far stronger views and won’t be happy with these ‘poppies’.

Nothing's sacred.

Hopefully France can reach a two state solution.

I came to post exactly the same as you.
The white poppy what was it 20 years ago now ?
The people behind this latest effort needs to be bloody careful.
I was up in Blackburn last week and there was some character flogging wrist bands "proceeds to soldier charity"

Just like Ukraine, perhaps.

Don't forget to wear your poppy, you'll feel naked without it.

NHS paediatrician Dr Abdul Qader Ismail is the person behind this, according to the Daily Mail.
