Thinking of buying a Stelvio.

Currently contemplating a 2.0 Stelvio.

Is this lunacy?
Have read about issues around plastic bleed screws and oil consumption due to piston rings. Anything else I should be aware of?
Is there a sweet spot with these?

They are great. I had a 280bhp Speciale which had been specced with every option, making it better than the Veloce spec above it. I can't say I was aware then of any warnings about issues, other than make sure the battery is in good health. I did find that out first hand when I had a Guilia.

Anyway, they handle superbly and are a nice place to be - and different - which counts for a lot.

I was considering trading it in for the just-launched Tonale but a refreshingly honest salesperson said don't, you'll be disappointed. I had it a year and then sold it privately to buy back my old 159 which came up for sale unexpectedly.
