The user's handbook is available from TVR but costs around £50 but includes a leather filofax. Has about 40 A6 pages.

The Griff and Chimaera bible second edition will be with us in a couple of weeks ish and is £33 for 425 A4 pages. Order online through the TVRCC. www.tvrcc.com

Sample chapters are on my Website www.tvrbooks.co.uk but I haven't updated it yet - been busy pouring over manuscrpts...

TVR are not the most attentive of organisations... persitence is required.

I noticed that you are in Ankara - when I lived in Istanbul, there was a company importing LHD chimaeras into Turkey and they exhibited at the '99 International Motor Show at the conference centre next to the Airport. They were called something like "British Sportscars" and I spoke at length to one of their guys about their plans to sell Caterhams in Turkey - I'll see if I can find their contact information for you.

My experience in driving in Turkey is that the roads are not well suited to the suspension settings of a standard Chimaera - lots of pot holes and adverse camber tends to unsettle the rear end of the car at speed and the surfaces are very greasy in the wet. It is worth it for the look on the faces of the local Tofas drivers, though!

Take a look here - there's info on alternative parts etc,. http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/Peter_Beech/TVR/Index.htm

Santa is sitting on my shoulder as I type...

Currently in the final correction phase. Should have the final reviewed and corrected proofs done by end of next week ready to go to the printer. The factory have given me permission to reprint their material again (Thanks Guys) so it is looking good. The printer is going to to speed track a batch through for Christmas so if you want the book before Christmas, get the order into the TVRCC is all I can say.

BTW I must mention the fabulous work that Manek did on the reviewing. Absolutely first class.

Steve, the book is not listed as available on TVRCC web yet. Any idea when - or should I call?

Can't wait!
