Good Pies

Can anyone recommend any very good quality pies?

I used to load up at Kitsons in Northallerton and freeze them but never get up there nowadays.

What I’m looking for is shortcrust pastry, filled with plenty of meat, sold uncooked to be cooked at home, and a decent selection of fillings.

I’ve found nothing decent in London, or online. The well-regarded M&S ones don’t work for me; puff pastry, a big gap above the filling, and just not enough meat for the amount of pastry.

No help I’m afraid, but definitely interested in the answers you get here. I gave up a while ago and now make my own based on the recipes from John Kirkwood on YouTube.
