After sitting in Dublin port discovering I'd forgotten all the tickets, just getting there was an event in itself!
Otherwise, it being my first year, the specticle that is Arnage at night is something I'll never forget. And the cars. And the camping experience. And the warm beer..... It was a sensory overload really.
Thank you PH, couldn't have done it without advice from everyone here.

My favourite memories:
Having a chap in a Bentley Continental GT on the channel tunnel train tell me that his 928 was the best car he ever had. I nearly offered him a swap.
Wearily setting up my tent at 10pm on Thursday in a dusty field when all of a sudden the night air was shattered by a race car in night practice.
Hammering down the Mulsanne Straight on Monday morning at 220kph with a 911 Turbo and an Exige keeping pace behind me.

In the car on the way home.....
"Father, I have sinned..."

is their no speed limit on it or something on the monday?
have to keep an eye out for you at next years race, where u usually stay?
Waking up on Thursday morning with Welcome to the Jungle blasting around the campsite!
Crawling along the peage in the pissing rain when a Ferrari came screaming by with the roof down and two happy passengers waving to us!
Mad Friday on the circuit, never seen a selection of cars quite like that.
Going to the supermarket Thursday am and hearing what sounded like a small hurricane - turned out to be an F40 in the underground car park, best shopping car ever!
The night racing at Arnage after which we followed a GT40 giving it lots of revs back to Arnage village in a convoy of various sports cars!
The drive home with so many exotics blasting past and us going as fast as physics allows in a fully loaded 1.0 Micra! My mate getting hit on the head with a pan at every roundabout while trying to sleep was priceless too!
Can't wait for next year, tickets booked and camping organised! Vive Le Mans!

I've booked with PCGB at the Porsche Curves again for 2006. See you there

Stopping at a petrol station near Alencon to fill up for the final stretch to LM. Dressed as a vicar and nun the queue of ten or so people moving aside to allow Claire to the front. Then diving into the Lotus and exiting the forecourt at full speed. The look on their faces was priceless.
Too many top moments to list......... but
Sunday night on Beausejour - 5 up in the Tiv......
.......
Scaring the bejesus out of two Dutch guys as I blipped the throttle in the tunnel under the Porsche curves on Saturday morning(The exhaust had sheared off before the cats on a Speed Six
)
Getting home in one piece on the Monday night, if slightly deaf and with mild carbon monoxide poisoning
