Pranking my local High Street
Discussion
Saw something vaguely amusing online with someone putting fake 'Opening Soon' posters on empty shops. They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery (or something) so thought I'd add a local twist and probably end up less vaguely amusing but gives me something to do.
Have a few planned - but will pull the plug if the locals get the hump!

and today's (under the cover of darkness as by the taxi rank - with a single cab driver watching suspiciously!)

That reminds me I need to make a fake Facebook profile to rage bait the various village FB groups in my area.
I have a fake account in the name of my nemesis from school. I don't live anywhere near there anymore but i still take joy every time i get grief for my "liberal" posts. OP - excellent idea
Top work
I think this is more than a stunt or prank. I think you're drawing attention to the state of the high street. The subtly subversive choice for 'openings' is more likely to have legs, stay under the radar and get people thinking than something more provocative and 'funny'.
For my money this is a lot more interesting as guerilla art than the tedious bien pensant Banksy
