I've been drinking Kenco Rich roast as my first coffee of the day for years. It has always been consistently good until they recently changed the blend and now not only tastes worse but also leaves a sludgy mess in the mug.
So looking for suggestions of an alternative strong but smooth instant.

I could drink it by the bouquet-full.

Douwe Egberts make Kenco so maybe they'll change that blend too!
Google suggests they've also gone for 'shrinkflation' too as they've reduced the jar sizes but kept the price the same, I hadn't noticed that censored

I hadn't considered Nescafé, never liked the original, but the new blends seem to be worth a try.

Lidl and Aldi are a good shout too as some of their own brand stuff is good.

Azera Americano. Always on offer at some supermarket for around £3.50 for the 90g and £5.50 for the 140g. Also available in Lidl for around £5.80 if not on offer.

Mrs Loto drinks the Azero stuff, but I genuinely (it's not a 'snob' thing) can't drink instant as it makes me feel sick. I can only drink fresh coffee from beans

Nescafe Gold Espresso - the powdered stuff not the granules. Two heaped spoons is about as good as it gets for instant.

Taylor’s of Harrogate coffee bags - Not the cheapest on a per cup basis I imagine but the nearest thing I can get to a decent cup of coffee without grinding beans etc.

Put the bag in the cup with hot water, leave for 5 minutes then squeeze the bag and drink, always go for the 5 strength personally.
