Driver Drags Guy under car for a mile.
Discussion
I can't make sense of this, drugs? Mental illness?

Richardson then drove off before stopping in a country lane and twice getting out of the vehicle in attempts to pull Mr Mullins free, the jury was told.
He then mounted the grass verge in his Volvo and finally dislodged him before reversing over Mr Mullins, causing "crushing" chest injuries.
Richardson's cousin Gabrielle Debotte, who was a passenger in the front seat of the car, previously told the court that both of them had heard "moaning" shortly after the collision in Paddock Lane and that he had gone on to say: "He is under the car."

This was near where I used to live. It's horrific. Reports of a blood trail smeared along the road showing that he was still alive while being dragged.
I hope the driver never sees the light of day again.
SD.
Snap. I have cycled along that road hundreds of times.I hope the driver never sees the light of day again.
SD.
I hope he gets a long stretch as well as those who tired to help him get away with it.
Can't get my head around this.
You have an 'innocent' collision and the response is drive off.... dragging a guy along.
Even if you don't realise he's under there, you then stop... realise he IS and the rection is to try and dislodge him before reversing over him, driving away and then swapping your car for a van in a pub.
Either this bloke is a full on nutter with a proper dodgy background or.... i don't know what

He had only just been released from prison where he was being held on remand for stalking, harassment, threats to damage property and assaulting an emergency worker. He had been given a non-custodial community order for those offences. You have an 'innocent' collision and the response is drive off.... dragging a guy along.

I would guess that he was both a full on nutter and has a proper dodgy background.

When you cycle in the vicinity it's difficult not to. I've been following the case and it's definitely been on my mind when getting on the bike. Scary that we share the roads with these people.
Well I'm not sure it helps but I think this helps explain the sort of person Richardson is.BBC said:
Less than a month before he struck the head teacher, Richardson was freed from prison.
He had served 47 days on remand awaiting sentence for stalking, harassment, threats to damage property and assaulting an emergency worker, and was freed on 26 March after being sentenced to a non-custodial community order.

What an utterly callous piece of s
t.
I have no words.
I had not heard of this case before today. I rather wish I hadn't.
I cannot begin to comprehend how anyone can behave like that.
In the absence of any attempt by his defence to play any kind of mental health or illness cards, I can only conclude that he is indeed a complete piece of s
