Yes, I expect there'll be some official farewell announcement and articles for the Polestar 2 soon - it basically launched the brand and carried it for years.

They've talked about the new car being more spacious in the rear seats and softer-riding, which it's true are the two main limitations of the current model, although I do rather wonder if they might lose something in doing so.

My assumption is that the PS2 mk2 will be a close platform-mate of the Polestar 7 compact SUV which is due in 2028. With this pair of fastback and SUV models, I doubt they'll offer a PS2 estate derivative also.
