New bike day! And it’s not a fireblade.

Well as winter comes around the summer bike has been put to bed, the only logical thing to do is buy something else!
Brief was simple, something cheapish to get about on over the winter and do some light touring on in spring/summer so panniers where preferable. I m a shortarse so that ruled out adventure bikes, and the usual vfrs are abit long in the tooth and hefty.
So it came down to a 675 street triple with soft luggage (had one previously but did like it) or this

Ducati hyperstrada 821, newest bike iv owned! Even has traction control! Its the low version which is quite rare so that swung it really.
It was cheaper then most facelift 675s and more kit as standard.
Pic with the summer bike :

Tax starts tomorrow so hopefully it s dry out!

Mine was 2015, don’t want to jinx it for you but it was really bad when proper cold ie cold weather like February early morning frosts etc I commuted and it was not good. Would stall the bike then sometimes difficulty restarting. Don’t know if there’s a solution.
I blanked off the rad when cold (snow / frost) as the engine gets no heat into it.
