As many are aware in my RR thread, Here I have been toying with moving my M140i along and getting something else.

I did try it out on track but felt I was just getting in other's way and after an atom tried to overtake me (and others) off the track on a corner exit, multiple times, I have been put off doing trackdays a bit (plus its a bit lonely going on your own) so have had a look around through October and test drove a couple of cars that would be fun on a public road but not something that I'd be upset not taking on track. A JCW Clubman 306bhp which felt glacial and nothing like 300bhp and a GR Yaris so far.

The latter was absolutely phenomenal to drive, I only got maybe 20 mins behind the wheel but it drove so fantastically on the back roads the dealer told me to take it down.

My concerns are, that I didn't try it at motorway speeds and as a large portion of my driving is on a motorway, would it end up being hard work to drive anywhere and is it the sort of car that you have to drive with a bit of gusto everywhere? I'm hoping somebody who has owned one could offer insights? I accept its a smaller car and a bit more niche but a lot of reviews seem to say the interior is a bit low rent?

Oh and trying to sell an M140i has to be the worst experience I have had, between lowballers and being sworn at and insulted, its been exhausting but the dealer with the GR Yaris has offered me a reasonable trade in as a stock car so if I go for the GR, at least I can just p/x it and sell the mods separately.
