Anyone use and recommend such a thing? I've tried asking the question in the gadgets section with no response as of yet, so hopefully there'll be someone here who has experience of them and can recommend a particular brand.

We're at the stage where Hunter would probably be ok with being left at home now, but I want to have an app on my phone to keep an eye on him. The more simple and reliable the better.

Anything from the Tapo range, from £20 with AI and motion tracking. Great app and if you ever want to add anything else to it it has almost everything.

We have 2 x Tapo C225s and can recommend them.

One for upstairs and one for downstairs, can pan and tilt so each is positioned to cover a wide area.

No ongoing charges/direct debits which I think some alternative brands might have.

We even take them on holiday just in case we need to pop out and leave the dog in on his own for a short period.
