Hi Chaps
Anybody had an issue with water in the rear boot? Drop my car off today for a wheel colour change and went to get the wheel lock key from the boot and its pretty wet in there. The only possibility I can see in water ingress from the glass rear cover 3 fixing bolts.

I don't know about this car, but the gaskets around the rear light clusters are a common culprit for water in the boot on any car...

I'm pretty sure this issue has cropped up before and there was a tech bulletin issued to dealers where extra sealant was needed around seam at back of the boot area (nearest to engine bay)

Might be worth looking on the FB group for A110 as I'm fairly sure that's where I saw info....also might be worth a search of this forum

I have just checked and there is a guide on the FB group to where the extra sealant needs to be put

If you are member of the group just use the 'guides' section at top of page

Had a similar problem where one of rubber washers that sit in rear screen above the fixing bolts had become lost. If you remove the bolts and lift the screen just check all 3 rubber washers are in place. I now always use a bit of silicone grease on the washers to stop them falling out.
