What's the going rate these days (particularly if you live in the South East) for a composite front door something like the below?

Just the door and frame, not any glazing either side. It's replacing an existing UPVC door that's held up pretty well for 15 or more years but is now letting the cold in.

Had the job booked with a fitter since April who kept repeatedly coming up with excuses until we cancelled and got our money back. Now looking for alternative suppliers but also putting a bit more thought into it as to what it should actually be costing.

Got a couple of companies coming round this week to quote but would be good to get a steer on a target price. Can't mention company names on here though as it will likely get the thread cancelled if people start slagging them off...

Cheers!

Silly question, but have you replaced the rubber seals at any point? It’s the easiest and cheapest job in the world but you would be shocked at difference in cold and noise reduction you get from easily replacing the seals. Simple push-fit job too.

£16 on Amazon and about £20 at ScrewFix
