Do OPCs still do regular customer events?

Been a Porsche customer for 10+ years. Over the years I’ve been invited to many product launches at the dealership, test drive days at PEC and other events. It used to be 2-3 invites per year. Don’t think I’ve heard of any events for the last 2 years.

Maybe I’ve fallen out of favour with my OPC or they just aren’t doing many events any more.

Is it just me or have Porsche tightened the purse strings on customer events?

I think you will find it’s not like it use to be went to some great events pre 2016 from launches with bubbles and nibbles to days at PEC with lunch. Even had some driving instruction when cayenne and Panamera were new with none other than Richard Attwood . Was never big spender with Porsche either but there were some great sales guys in the past especially at Porsche Colchester back then early to mid 2000s.

I got invited to a new car event, "Icons at the Haus" and a "Sportscar Together Day" in September. The Sportscar Together Day was paid admission though so I don't think that counts laugh

A chum is at PEC today trying the Taycan with the fake gearshifts and some mystery car described to him as a "prototype" which I guess is the new electric Cayman.
