Been offiered a great deal on a '26 model with tech pack and heated grips and seats, anyone own one?

For context it'll be used for mainly road miles and touring, little if any off road, I'm don't usually hang about, am I likely to regret buying it? rofl

Can you test ride it? If you can, do it, as it is a cracking bike. 790 Adv was on my radar when I was looking for a new ride a few months ago. Unfortunately it didn't feel comfy for my long legs, so in the end I didn't buy it.

Camshaft problems have been rectified some time ago and these are now getting 4-year warranty, so if you're getting a good deal, go for it.

Thanks, no test ride, not arsed about historic engine issues with the 4 year warranty, I've never kept a bike that long.

At least sit on it to make sure that it fits you well and feels comfy. And go for it if it does.

Yeah thanks I have done and seems fine, decisions, also seen the CFmoto 1000mtx which is a grand cheaper, more powerful and built in the same factory.

Can’t beat having a grand in your pocket, I suspect they are not too dissimilar and relative depreciation may well be the same. The 790 is great, I had a ‘normal’ one but when I rode the 890 the engine felt a lot better. So I would go for the bigger engine
