Ollie is proving himself and gaining experience. It’s been said that he will go to Ferrari when Lewis retires but now Lewis is saying he wants to race for Ferrari in the Rwanda GP in 2030 or possibly later. Where does that leave Ollie ?

Just because he wants doesn't mean that he will.

Whats the argument? that guy in the office wont retire, should I put something in his tea?
Not like he's next in line for anything. Just an option if they want to fill the seat. Best learn Italian in the meantime for extra credits.

Replacing Leclerc when Ferrari have decided they have had enough of his selfish antics that are costing the team points

CLC has re-signed, surely it's time to look around, assuming someone else wants him,

Time McLaren cut Oscar loose and open up a seat for Ollie? I don't see a route to Ferrari in the next 3-4 years for him, and frankly, why would any round driver want to.

And I say that as a Ferrari fan!

Oscar needs to move on, lest he wants to get beaten for yet another season by Lando who is simply faster. Oscar s stock is surely plummeting now; many on here viewed him as the new messiah, he s been the new meh. Another season of below par performances will just do more damage to his stock.

Ollie would be good for McLaren.

To be fair to OP he was on track to win the WDC last year so, although he's struggling this year, its not like he's a bad driver. Would Ollie fare any better as LNs team mate?

Hamilton will be 45 in 2030. I'd be highly surprised if he was still driving for Ferrari at that point.

Bearman has one year, maybe two left at Haas before he needs to make a big move. If it's not Ferrari, he'll need to go somewhere else.

I'll make an unpopular prediction: Ollie will struggle against Camara next year, and Camara will be the one moving to Ferrari in two years when Leclerc leaves for Aston Martin to finally become World Champion with Newey and Honda.

Lewis will retire after two more frustrating years at Ferrari, without winning another title, and will be replaced by Antonelli, who will move to Ferrari for a record breaking fee, only to achieve nothing there in the years that follow.

Also worth noting that there is no definite date for the African Grand Prix in Rwanda. The organisers have a contract with F1 but it is subject to the track being completed in time to host a race in the "early 2030s". I don't think it will happen for Lewis.

According to Autosport, Bearman is contracted to Ferrari and only loaned to Haas. If Ferrari cannot give him a seat with them in 2028 then he is free to break that contract and go elsewhere. Hamilton's struggles in 2025 made it look likely that Bearman would be replacing him at the end of Lewis's contract. However, Hamilton's improved form this year has complicated things. I suspect that last weekend's shenanigans have probably complicated that further.
