Today is the big day that i go and collect my GTO3 and cant wait after reading all your thoughts on the car. As i bought it without having a propper drive in it, look forward to seeing why you like them so much ?

You be careful with your right foot Sir! Its wet out there. First day I collected mine was damp and I had it sideways twice! (could be as I had never driven anything quite so powerful )

Dead right ! Keep off the throttle for the first couple of days !

It takes a little while to get used to just how fast it'll accelerate, and more importantly getting used to people concentrating on your car rather than there own !!!

it's normal for people to ask - "what is it?" or even for people to insist on taking pictures of it:

1. While standing in front of it at traffic lights
2. Whilst driving up your back end
3. Whilst driving along side you
4. Or whilst you are parked up

Yep, and the old classic of preventing you from pulling out of a T-Junction by slowing down to look at you !
Oh, and allow a good half an hour for each fuel stop !!!

I have to say i didnt want to get out of it last night, i see what you mean by on lookers i had to stop and fill up with fuel and within a few minutes i had people looking all over it. great car but feels slow until you look at the speedo or by th rate you are passing cars

Umm...can I agree with the guy here! I came from a 385 bhp Evo 6 running 1.6 bar and the Noble felt well...lazy in comparison. I am absolutely sure it is down to the huge spike in boosting to 1.6 bar in the Evo compared to 0.7 and looking down at the speedo in the Noble reminds you just how fast you really are going!

The whole 'noise' thing doesn't help either - it's amazing what higher db / pitch etc... adds to a 'speed' experience. Take a 360 and a Noble side by side from 0 - 100mph and the Noble will walk it....audibly though the Fezzy sounds like it f*@ks off with it!!

I know what you mean, the Noble can "feel" slow until you look at the speedo and then realise that the cars that were behind you are no longer in the mirrors....

The Noble is such an accomplished machine, and the 3l engine has such huge torque across the board, that compared to a Lambo or a 360CS you would think that it's slower, until you actually line them up side by side.
