Old story! However the real reason is that they don't want the average yank finding out that their "world power" country can't (or won't) help them and that the Care packets come from the EU and GB!!!! How's that for schizophrenia!!!!

Nope, no such thing as a good government imho.

They all feel they have to lie to protect the investments and positions of the rich and powerful, and the detriment to the poor and powerless.

Nope.. But it is a good example of a government being a little absurd at a time of great need. Those packs could have fed thousands for days, but instead, they sit ina warehouse somewhere...
