Well folks its been 2 months since my last post, and I am still in south america. Sadly I am missing the tamora and counting down the days until we return (sad I know), its also been 2 months since I last read pistonheads. Nice to see people are still buying Tamora´s. Anything else interesting I have missed!
Hopefully we can update www.tvrtamora.com when I get back as well!! Well at least thats the plan!

Hi Simon
Long time no hear!
Nothing much really gone on, it seems there are more people enjoying their Tams than not
, so no change there!
I have to go to Italy for a week next week, and I know I'll miss my drive to work in the Tam, so God knows how you must feel being away so long from yours!

Two months is a long time away from the Tam, (or the other woman as the wife calls it). You know what they say, abscense make the heart grow fonder!
Need you to do some updates on the register, been spending money on the old girl again.

Chris,
Had a full paintshield kit fitted, some leather re-trimming, (Carbon) and made some base speaker and tweeter pods for front, (also trimmed in leather with alloy trims).
Thinking of having it de-catted as well, anyone had it done?
Was also looking at the Pioneer sat nav, similar to yours. Did you fit it yourself, if so was it easy?
Finally, Can't decide whether to have wheels recoated in anthracite??
Cheers,
John.

Hi John, sounds good!, you must take some pics, would love to see the results of the re-trim!
From what I can gather, you need a de-cat chip, to go with the de-cat, otherwise you actually lose a few bhp, but if done correctly, there's about a 9bhp gain (From reading the S6 forum)
I got an Audio specialist to install my satnav, and had the RA2 hard-wired at the same time, cost £155 all in, but they did do a great job (No need for the optional extra speed pulse generator too!) There are a couple of people who have installed the unit themselves, their names escape me at the moment, though.

Hi Maddog, it's nice to see the return of someone who actually likes TVRs on here! This place is turning into a Porsche forum.
There are quite a few of us on here who love our machines. I think the reason why things sometimes get heated is because the 'T' series of TVRs are true driver's cars, and as such, the owners can get more passionate about their P&J.
I do believe that everyone are entitled to their own view, but sometimes you do wonder if what some say is merely for effect, to get a rise, personally, I just don't feed that type
, and just go for a
, and then realise how lucky I am!
