Just been to a dealership to look at a 328 with 17000 miles, the dealership said the clutch needs to be done. After querying the longevity they told me the clutch only last 15-20,000 miles and some only 8,000! How long has your clutch lasted?

I used to own a TVR and the clutch on that had last 60,000 miles and was still fine.

Try asking elsewhere (garage that is) cos that sounds short.
i don't know for sure but my Dad's hasn't had clutch done in at least 20,000 and it is fine.
Have read articles about 308/328's being used as hill climbers and never needing a clutch replacement.
