Who do you nod to?
Discussion
Just been flicking through a copy of Bike from a few months ago, and it has a column on the letters page about who do you nod to?
I wondered who you guys nod to, or if you do at all? I'll happily nod to another biker (puts a big smile on my face :D), but never done it to a scooter (because they normally just give me hard stares ;))

Well suprised when a plod biker nodded to me a while back (especially with the visor and can
) There's one chap I pass every day between Didcot and Henley (just got himself a new Pan (if you're a PHer you'll know who you are
)), never met him but every day raises his right hand to wave. Just gives you that 'there are some nice people on the roads' feelingLast week I was parked up at Sainsburys, stood next to my bike, having a smoke. Usually when other bikers return to their bikes there's a nod and a hello but on this particular occasion it appeared the Harley-riding midlife-crisis man didn't want to acknowledge my hello. How rude is that?
I was determined to get him to say something.
So after no reply to my hello (he was looking right at me when I said it and I *know* he heard it, he was just being rude), I mumbled "Get
ed, then." just loud enough for him to hear.
"I'm sorry?", says he.
"Heh. You spoke!", smiles me.
He looked embarrassed, got on his bike and
ed off. Miserable bastard.

nice one, i dont even bother talking to them really, i mean the Hells angels thug type you dont say anything to on the whole but the mid life crisis numpty on his 'hog' has to be laughed at,especially the ones with those stupid HD logo jackets with tassls on, when i see them on the road i cant resist to cog it down 1 or maybe 2 get the revs up and fly past them, immature i know but it does make me laugh.

awww, why not? I'd say about 80% of bikers nod to me, the others are either looking elsewhere or just don't respond. Maybe people are nicer up norf'
....oh, you mean motorcyclists?
