The strange world of daytime TV
Discussion
As a new initiate to this I had a fascinating glimpse yesterday of a totally different TV world.
Almost without exception adverts were either about borrowing money or making accident claims for compensation. The worrying thing about the money lending adverts that most of them were directly aimed at people with poor credit historys who couldn't borrow money elsewhere......so why lend to them?
Then there were wierd programmes, like one where a mock court is held and some mad cow of a judge hears cases like, my best friends iguana attacked me and now I want her cat as compensation.
It seems to be a totally different culture to the evening scedule. I suppose society is becoming divided into the Chavs and the Chav nots and TV is relflecting this.
