Help - Clutch

I will be replacing my clutch sometime in the near future, including pivot arm, pressure plate, friction plate and bearing.

1) Does anyone have the part numbers to hand?
2) Where can i get these parts from at a reasonable cost (for diy installation) ?

3) Is it worth fitting a 5.0 clutch, as i am planning a power increase ? or are all the clutches the same ?

My understanding is that TVR chopped and changed the clutch components over the year (quelle surprise) and so until you get the bits and bobs out, it's a bit hard to tell.

There have also been a few posters complaining about delivery time/lack of availability re clutch parts, so probably best to order asap.

So what's the jackanory mate, last I heard your car was in the classifieds?

Yes My car is in the classifieds. I was going to sell it and get something sensible, but i decided that would be far to boring. Im now going to get a cheep diesel car for the week and keep the Chim for weekends.

How’s your Chim going ?
Did you manage to get the door buttons working again after LM ? or are you still getting in and out "dukes of hazard style" ?

Got mine from V8 developments, about £230 for the 3 pice kit. The fork I got from tvr and cost £30.

They will be able to sell you the correct clutch for the horse power of the car your going to end up with.
