I tried this in the P&P but was ignored, as usual :( I'm about to buy a house that is "in need of modernisation" - which, translated from estate agentese into English means it needs rewiring, a lot of plumbing, and a central heating system.

Can anyone recommend anyone electricians, plumbers or heating engineers in the Guildford area who know what they're doing but aren't trying to finance a Lamborghini?

Any help gratefully received :)

I know of a few tradesmen kerfuff'.

Lemme talk to pops when he gets home to get you some numbers if I haven't been beaten to it by then.

So it should ......BM's do the same to me.

Are you suggesting as I drive a Tuscan my prices are too high?

You don't know me or my circumstances or my business..don't jump to conclusions mate.

I sub conract sometimes.

If you would like a quote I'm more than happy to meet up and discuss any work you need doing.

Been so long in the building biz I know the story,30 years plus.

BTW ...Does the work you do equate to the car you drive? Selling hair products maybe
