Webcam Advice Please!
Discussion
Hi
I'm looking at buying a webcam, mainly to be used for video-conferencing but also for recreational use with Skype and IM.
I'm not sure what features I should be looking for as I've never had a webcam before so could well miss some of the non-obvious essentials that make a webcame practical to use.
So far I have identified that I need a good sensor (1.3MP seems to be the best around?), some kind of warning light to indicate it's on and a decent mount so I can talk comfortably whilst still being in the picture properly (I have a Dell flatscreen monitor).
The best webcam I've seen seems to be the Logictech QuickCam Fusion|http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/products/details/GB/EN,CRID=2204,CONTENTID=10562.
The QuickCam Fusion appears to be the best webcam Logitech do, but are there any thoughts on other manufacturers' models I should consider or even just general points to bear in mind when choosing a cam?
Cheers.
