Are there any other free email programmes apart from Outlook and Outlook express as they both keep crashing on the Dell laptop - running XP.

Its getting to be fricking annoying.

There are tons see www.ded.com/nonags/emc.html but I don't think the problem is with the programs. You must have another problem somewhere. Virus or similar at a guess.

OK. D/L Thunderbird

Now it wont let me put on an account.

I have my main email, then I have my professional account, all the settings are the same apart from the email address but it will not let me add that account as the server address is already used for the main email.

Can anyone help..?

I'm guessing slightly as what your problem is here.

In thunderbird you can have lots of email accounts setup, but you only have one outgoing server (you can have more, but it's not recommended). This is different from OE where you have an outgoing server for each email account.

When you send an email it takes the 'from' address from the email accounts, but always sends via the same server.

So I think how you've got it setup is probably OK, although I could be proved wrong.
Are you having problems setting up multiple email accounts or just outgoing servers?

Hiya I dont really know how its setting up.
I did an Import and it brought in the personal account.

I then had to manually add in the professional account and thats when I hit the problem.

Any chance I could mail you offline and then I can send screenshots..?
