POP UPS

i have switched my pop up bloker on and when i go into the tools and then pop up bloker and steeings and put it to high i still seem to get popups, the thing is that i only started getting them yesterday and before that i have had no problems with pop ups at all

any suggestions on why i am gettin them and how i can fix it

Could be a virus or spyware. Do you have a virus scanner and anti-spyware tool installed? If not I recommend Trend Micro PC-cillin and (for free) Microsoft Anti-Spyware Beta.

I'd try the MS product first which should give you an idea of if malicious software is causing your problem.

Have you tried going to tools on internet explorer, then Pop-Up blocker, Pop-Up blocker setting and see if you have allowed them to appear on your Allowed sites.

Switch it off and install the Google toolbar... sorted
