looking good! just wondering how come your exhuasts are different to mine?

As for my car i bought it in housten texas, its only been with me in the Uk about 4 months or so, its a 1996 with 21k original miles on the clock, i had it painted black while it was over in the states and the current wheels fitted, its got a few mods done to the engine and suspension by the prevouis owner but apart from that it pretty standard

off the top of my head - wider wheels, wider rear end AKA Fat Arse (starts about 1/2way along the door), Center brake light, squared exhaust tips, bigger discs, bigger noise, differnet badges and of course a different engine....sure I've missed something

Yours has the standard 'letterbox' tail pipes, the first thing we got rid of on our 94, improves the sound too!

I'm not too sure on aftermarkets other than probably Borla do something for the C4, Ecklers or Mid America will give a selection. We had our system for the C4 made up in Exeter as a custom job, this was then used by Claremount in Snodland as their style of Borlas, not sure if they still do them. However for the pace car we used a firm in Wallington, Surrey called Longlife Exhausts who made a very loud custom set up for us. A friend recently used them to make a custom system for his 96 Saleen Mustang which is also very loud!

theres a place near me called topgear that do the powerflow stuff, like twin big bores for a 1 litre punto etc!

not sure if i would trust them with my vette, would it affect performance or just sound?

We only had a cat back on the C4 but I think even that would give a small increase in power, however on the pace car we had cat back (since added high flo cats), no mufflers and larger diameter pipes (had aftermarket headers) and a X pipe. This will have added some power due to better flow but I don't think any exhaust systems will add the claimed bhp you read about! Depends on where you are in London, it might be worth a trip to Longlife, their work is really good.

Yeah forgot about that (I dont use it)

You've been quiet lately, not a lurker now are you??

As for exhsusts to fit, thats not for us to answer. What someone may love you may hate - its down to the person and taste. I'd say get to a few meets and have a listern to other peoples cars to help make your mind up. I like a B&B with X-pipe but it is very loud (inside and out)

Always welcome to a ride in my Z.....try to refrain form kissing the ground afterwards though can you
