I saw 2 on the M62 today, one this morning the other this afternoon. It wasn't the same one as they were different colours. One of them may have been a Tuscan 2 S, just wasn't close enough to check the tail.

If it had barnacles on, it was probably a humpback rather than a Tuscan S.

Not entirely accurate, my learned colleague.

TVR DID actually place barnacles on the 2003-2004 model year Tuscan S rear end.

Handcrafted barnacles made from pure Barnaclium, not your standard parts bin rubbish.

The company denies any failure of barnacles' performance. Principally, though, customers have reported failures in adhesion to the bodywork. Rather incongruously though, Blackpool (well known for its Barnacle, and latterly failed, cockle trade), have been offering 'goodwill' barnacle replacements.

Warranty cover is inconsistent. Giles 'The Chocolate' Starfish, a spokesman for Limpet Marine Automotive Co, said that crustacean adornment failure could be seen as wear and tear. The lift at the rear and of a Tuscan S at above 100 mph was enough to buffett many of the creatures off. Hungry passers-by would, additionally, 'buffet' the clingy critters off too.

Your local SeaWorld should have more information.
